The following document is the current state of a large assortment of various philosophical writings I have produced. I hope to improve upon it at some point in the future - perhaps adding valuable scientific background and more rigorous logical analyses - but this is what I have for now. Feel free to contact me over Discord if you feel so inclined; xentarch is my username, just send over a friend request and I'll probably see it eventually! This text, Relativistic Holism, more explicitly outlines the ontological basis of my philosophy. It both underlies and explains everything, to the extent permitted by its length and level of formality. (The following document was last updated on: 1/30/2025)

This text expands on the epistemological constraints which give rise to my ontology, something very briefly alluded to in the final sentences of Relativistic Holism. (The following document was last updated on: 1/30/2025)

This next document is a miscellaneous assortment of my briefer writings, which I still want to make publicly accessible. If you want to understand more about my perspective on certain things, there's a lot of good stuff in here. (Last updated: 2/15/2025)

I call this text The Paradox of Freedom. It's not really a paradox - it's more of a contradiction - but "paradox" makes for a punchier title. I believe what I'm getting at in this document is something very central to a lot of modern political thought, so I decided to let it stand on its own. (Last updated: 12/09/2024)

This document describes some general speculation I have on how we may consider physics in a way which is biased towards electromagnetic interactions, which may produce unexpected consequences for how other forces interact with dimensionality and "distance" paradigms in general, if true. It's by far my most speculative writing - and I don't intend it to be anything more than speculation - but I like the idea and want to put it out there somewhere. (Last updated: 12/09/2024)

This final document is an abstract and speculative investigation of the potential mechanisms by which personality types (as described by typology) may actually correspond to the organization of the human brain. It also explores some personally interesting consequences of any overlap. This is definitely one of my most niche writings, but I've spent a good chunk of time in online typology spaces (especially on Discord), so I think it has a place here. (Last updated: 09/07/2024)

-- Personal Description --

I am a systems thinker - you have to change what is most fundamental of a system to truly change its overall character; Conversely, it is also the system which characterizes its parts. My academic interests include:

I'm pretty absentminded and I tend to get lost in thought when I'm idle, and I tend to gravitate strongly towards people who do the same. I get a lot of unique insights and perspectives this way, but I also have plenty of ways to distract myself and pass the time!

I watch a lot of YouTube, mainly stuff like Kyle Hill, PBS Space Time, Kurzgesagt, 3Blue1Brown, Crash Course, and other educational channels (I also love Khan Academy!), as well as all sorts of random video essays and some gaming content. Every once in a while, I play video games like Terraria, Subnautica, No Man's Sky, Warframe and Beat Saber. I also tend to use a lot of absurdity, irony, sarcasm, internet memes, and other various references in my humor.

I also love to listen to music! I listen to a lot of copyright free music and stuff made by relatively small artists or video game composers (and remixes of their soundtracks), typically electronic genres like EDM, D&B, Breakcore, etc. I also listen to a lot of more mainstream music in these categories, like Alan Walker (love that guy), Avicii, and all kinds of popular artists from the 2000s. I'm a big fan of TheLivingTombstone as well. Some of the wackier stuff I listen to are Kurzgesagt's background tracks (by Epic Mountain), remixes of indie game fangame music, and movie soundtracks (like from Interstellar, which is also my favorite movie).

ChatGPT Summary of the Stuff I Think About

(Yes, I had ChatGPT explain some of the stuff I think about. I'm terrible at summarizing and haven't talked about my ideas anywhere more so than with ChatGPT, so I think it's reasonable. It's good for a brief overview.)

The user is an intellectually curious individual with deep interests in philosophy, mathematics, neuroscience, and artificial intelligence. They are a systems thinker who seeks to understand and improve the fundamental processes of life and intelligence. Their approach to knowledge is rooted in a belief in the interconnectedness of existence, viewing consciousness, information, and ethics as emergent properties of dynamic, relative systems. Key aspects of their thinking include:
